I started going to ECC in Ora town, which is my home town, when I was in the First Grade. In the classroom, there were about four people including my ECC teacher and my friends. We did a lot of plays with English. I particularly remember two things. They were playing with English cards, and singing an Alphabet song. Before the class, I was nervous. However, I was excited at the last. My English life started at the ECC lesson. The first ECC lesson was very fun and interesting, so I enjoyed it. I remember the day and most of the activities.

When I was in the Twelfth Grade, I quitted ECC. I had been to ECC for about 13 years. I said goodbye to my teacher and told her that I would come ECC to see her. I said goodbye to my friend, too. She and I studied together for nine years. We met every week for those years. We are not only friends, but also rivals. We helped each other. I was very sad, because the reason why I like English was there. However, I had a sense of accomplishment. This is because I could continue going to ECC for more than ten years.

Then, she gave us some treats. The first time that I knew what Halloween is like is when I joined the party for the first time. That is, ECC taught me “Halloween”.

When I was in the Eleventh Grade, my ALT went back suddenly to her home country, The United State. I became sad when I heard about that and the fact that she quitted ALT. She was always kind and friendly to us. Besides, her classes were very fun every time. She taught a lot of things to us, including about her home county. My classmates including me wrote letters to her. She looked happy when we gave her them. I don’t know why she quitted ALT and went back to America even now, but I hope that she is fine.

When I found that I passed, I cried with pleasant.

I had a lot of interviews with native speakers every year. For about thirteen years while I went to ECC, I met a lot of foreign teachers of ECC and talked with them. I particularly remember that there was a teacher who was from the United States. What I remember about he is that he does not like Natto. At the first time of the interviews, the test was with pictures. However, the test was more and more difficult, when I was grower and grower. That is, it was only speaking. The interviews were tests of ECC. They were a little difficult, but I enjoyed.

A theme of my poems is “Precious experiences of English”. My favorite subject, which is English, gave me a lot of precious experiences and memorable time so far. Among ten poems, I think two things are connected. First, my memories of poems had a positive impact on studying English. Second, I chose those ten memories, because they were the most memorable things of my all English experiences. Writing poems is a good opportunity to remember my own English life. In addition, it is also an important one to write poems in English. Moreover, it is difficult, but an interesting activity.
